Since SECUTAG® micro
colour codes are not visible to the naked eye,
many of our internationally active customers
label their products discreetly. Only some
insiders - generally their own employees, who,
as investigators, conduct inspections or are
responsible for purchase on approval - know
how the originals are secured and how their
authenticity can be ascertained beyond doubt.
Unfortunately, we cannot reveal the names of
these customers here for obvious reasons.
However, we are happy to present to you some
interesting applications of our customers,
who have opted for public declaration of the
security of their products.

| PUMA® secures
branded goods with SECUTAG® |

The sports goods manufacturer PUMA has been using the
SECUTAG® product security system since
1993. PUMA - branded goods are identified as
original with the help of textile tags that
have our micro colour code.
Customs officers, commercial agents and product
protection representatives can thus verify the
authenticity of goods. SECUTAG® prevents
illegal overproduction in production plants worldwide,
since the number of secured labels is defined.
Counterfeits are easily identifiable; unfounded
product liability claims for imitations can be
dismissed.

| EPAL
EUR-box pallets secured against counterfeits with
SECUTAG® control seals |
The
European Pallet Association (EPAL) has decided to
sustainably secure their EUR-box pallets against
counterfeits. The EPAL control seals certifies quality
and security standards of the EUR-box pallets. Since
the beginning of 2007, EPAL control seals can be
clearly identified as original. This is ensured by
the use of a seal especially developed by 3S and
secured with SECUTAG®. The control seals withstands
the extreme conditions of the logistics industry
due to its superior durability. At the same time,
it guarantees the authenticity of the EUR-box pallets.

| Documents of the Stuttgart Media University
are tamper-proof |
Diploma
certificates of the Stuttgart Media University (HdM)
are tamper-proof. In addition to hot and blind embossing,
SECUTAG® micro colour codes are also applied
on the surface of the document. These can only be
discerned under a microscope, thus enabling unmistakable
identification of original certificates. SECUTAG® is
also used as a proof of authenticity in other important
documents and certificates.

secures primary packaging with SECUTAG® closure
seals |

INGUN,
renowned manufacturer of test probes and test fixtures,
offers the worldwide largest range of testing equipment
products. The adherence to highest quality standards
also includes the protection of these products against
counterfeiting. INGUN therefore secures the packaging
of its test probes with SECUTAG®. 3S has developed
security seals for the legally binding labelling
of the test probe boxes. They are equipped with the
individual counterfeit-proof company colour-code
SECUTAG®. Additionally, the special form and
material of the closure seals serve as barrier to
illegal reproduction and manipulation. |

| SECUTAG® authenticates
explosives as well |
| On 15.10.2006, the program "Terra
X" on ZDF (Second German Television) showed how
an explosive labelled with SECUTAG® could be identified
even after an explosion. |
