SECUTAG® are
microscopic particles, which contain a colour code with
an individual colour sequence. Each user gets his unique,
individual micro colour code, exclusively produced for
him from over four billion possible codes.

Analogous to
finger prints, colour codes are an indisputable evidence
of the genuineness
of products and brands of the user. The SECUTAG® concept
is used to control product piracy, to prevent unauthorised
product liability claims, to identify sales channels (parallel
imports, re-imports) as well as for document security.
. Logistical data can also be tested for authenticity with
SECUTAG® in combination with the EAN code, barcode,
datamatrix code or other traceability codes. |
SECUTAG® has universal patent protection. However,
the production process of SECUTAG® has only been described
in parts in the patent specification. The actual method
remains confidential and yet it is protected. Hence, SECUTAG® micro
colour codes also serve as a proof of authenticity and
are recognised as a proof of the original in international
courts. Labelling
products with the SECUTAG® security system is extremely easy
for users - but too complicated for counterfeiters. SECUTAG® micro
colour codes are so small that they are practically invisible
when integrated in branded goods, all types of material,
packaging, cloth and paper labels, threads, holograms,
printed matter and documents - if required, they can
be made so inconspicuous, that counterfeiters simply
miss the SECUTAG® micro colour code. For this purpose,
SECUTAG® is generally stirred in clear varnish. It
can then be printed like an ordinary printing ink or
applied with a dispenser. One dot of one millimetre diameter
is sufficient for one security process. Supplying definite
quantities of labels thus secured to an external production
plant also effectively prevents the possibility of overproduction.

It
is easy to read and verify the colour code with a microscope
or with an automatic reading device. The SECUTAG® product
labelling system thus helps you and your testers in
the ad hoc verification of the authenticity of a product
directly on site, wherever you are, in unmasking counterfeits
as well as in exposing license holders and agencies
which deliver in foreign regions. Customs authorities
will also assist you in the course of border seizure
procedures. Moreover, if the security information is
made public, even end customers can perform this verification
on recently bought products. Authentication cannot
get easier.
Our security system is extremely cost-effective, since
very little SECUTAG® is used every time a product is
secured. Our system can be used starting from 4.17 euros
for 1000 securing processes.
