The method of tracing goods using traceability codes throughout the manufacturing and delivery process has already proved successful in billions of cases. Complete information regarding when, where and by whom a product has been manufactured, transported and delivered can be tracked. For this purpose, SECUTAG® ensures that the commodity management data of your goods is tamper-proof irrespective of which commodity management code you use. Plus, it guarantees the manufacturer as well as the end user that the saved information and hence the product are authentic.

One big advantage of this solution is that both codes can be simultaneously applied on the product and on the primary or secondary packing if requested.

An additional advantage is the user-friendly verification of originals during quality assurance. The manufacturer, supplier and the end user can check goods for authenticity. Integration of traceability code systems in already existing IT systems, e.g., customs clearance programs such as Atlas can be efficiently checked.

Moreover, the system also offers the possibility of increasing the degree of protection against counterfeiting using interfaces to a database of the user. An image of the security code of each product can be saved in the database. These images can be accessed at any given time and compared to the security code of the product to be checked.
